Jacci M. Duncan President of Meridian ServicesJacci M. Duncan is President of Meridian Services, which she founded to meet the dynamic needs of businesses during times of growth and transition.

Prior to launching the company, Jacci served as Executive Director of American Women in Radio and Television and the Foundation of AWRT, where she oversaw strategic development, operations, board relations, business affairs, fundraising and the production of national events, including the prestigious Gracie Allen Awards and a national leadership summit.

Jacci also served as interim executive director for the National Association of Women Business Owners, where she led turn-around management efforts to restore member services, manage budgets to meet bottom-line objectives, and re-establish a public policy presence in Washington, DC.

Jacci moved to Washington from California where she spent more than six years as a television and print news reporter. In broadcast, she worked as an on-air news reporter for KHSL-TV (CBS) in Chico, and as correspondent for the northern California news magazine show, Sunday Evening. She was a writer and editor for KTXL-TV (FOX) in Sacramento. Her background in print journalism includes assignments as a reporter and editor for the political newspaper First Reading (Capitol Weekly) in Sacramento, a general assignment news reporter for the The Auburn Journal, and as a political reporter for Capital News Service in Sacramento.

Jacci is the editor of Making Waves: The 50 Greatest Women in Radio and Television (Andrews McMeel Publishing, 2001), co-author of The Women's History Guide to Washington (Charles River Press, 1998) and author of Washington for Women, A Guide to Working and Living in the Washington Metropolitan Area (Madison Books, 1997). She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). She is the recipient of the 2000 Vivian Award from the National Press Club and a 1999 Young Woman of Achievement Award from the Women's Information Network in Washington, D.C.
